EDI(Electronic Data Interchange)

Electronic communication of transactions between organizations, such as orders, confirmations and invoices. Independent service organizations provide EDI services that enable users to interconnect with another organization’s network regardless of type of equipment used. See X12, Tradacoms and EDIFACT.
