(1)(Central Distribution Frame) A connecting unit (typically a hub) that acts a central distribution point to all the nodes in a zone or domain. See MDF.

(2)(Channel Definition Format) Microsoft’s push technology for the Internet. CDF channels, which are also called Active Channels, are supported in Internet Explorer Version 4.0 and Windows 98.
