unmoderated newsgroup

In a distriibuted computer bulletin board system such as EchoMail (FidoNet) or USENET (internet), a topical discussion group in which postings are not subject to review before distribution. Unmoderated newsgroups are characterized by spontaneity, but some postings do not adhere to the group’s stated discussion topic, uted bulletin board, FidoiVet, flame war, Internet, moderated newsgroup, newsgroup, and USENET.
