Program Manager

The control center for Windows 3.x operation. It provides the means to launch application and manage the desktop. Program Manager may be replaced with. another shell, such as Norton’s Desktop for Windows, HP’s Dashboard, hDC’s Power Launcher or Paper Software’s SideBar, all of which provide similar functionality with a different user interface.
