A printer that uses the electrophotografic method used in copy machines to point a page at a time. A laser “paints” points the dots of light onto a photographic drum or belt. The toner is applied to the drum or belt and then transferred onto the paper. Desktop printers use cut sheets like a copy machine. Large printers may use rolls of paper.
