Internet appliance

A device designed for accessing the World Wide Web on the Internet. Internet TV services, such as WebTV, are designed for home use, whereas network computers (NCs) are designed for business use. PDAs and specialized handheld devices with wireless connection to the Internet are also expected. See Internet TV and network computer.
