HPFS(High Performance File System)

The file system, introduced with OS/2 Version 1.2, that handles larger disks(2TB volumes; 2GB files), long file names(256 bytes) and can launch the program by referencing the data as in the Macintosh. It coexists with the existing FAT system.

Hệ thống file, được giới thiệu cùng với OS/2 Version 1.2, vốn điều khiển các đĩa lớn hơn(các dung lượng 2TB; các file 2GB), các tên file dài(256 byte) và có thể hoạt động chương trình bằng việc tham khảo dữ liệu như trong máy Macitosh. Nó cùng tồn tại với hệ thống FAT hiện hành.
