document management

The capture and management of documents within an organization. The term used to imply the management of documents after there were scanned into the computer. Today, the term has become anumbrella under which document imaging, workflow, text retrieval and multimedia fall.

Việc thu thập và quản lý các tài liệu trong một tổ chức. Thuật ngữ này được sử dụng để ám chỉ việc quản lý các tài liệu sau khi chúng đã được quét trên máy tính. Ngày nay, thuật ngữ này được sử dụng chung cho việc tạo ảnh cho tài liệu, dòng làm việc, việc truy xuất text và multimedia (đa phương tiện truyền thông).
