DBS(Direct Broadcast Satellite)

A oneway TV broadcast service direct from a satellite to a small 18″ dish antenna. Although DBS service exists in other countries, the first DBS satellite for the United States was launched in December 1993 by Hughes Communications and Hubard Broadcasting.
