The minimum unit od storage on a disk, sectors based on the drive size and OS version. Windows clusters can be as large as 32KB on 2GB drives. That means a 100byte file can take up 32KB of space. On Windows 95 PCs starting in 1998, the brought the cluster size down to 4K.
