asynchronous communication

A method of data communication in which the transmission of bits of data is not synchronized by a clock signal but is accom plished by sending the bits one after another, with a start bit and a stop bit to mark the beginning and end, respec tively, of the data unit. Asynchronous communication is pupular among personal computer developers. Because of the lower communication speeds, you can use normal telephone lines for asynchronous communication. Một phương pháp truyền dữ liệu, trong đó việc truyền đi các bit dữ liệu không được làm đồng bộ bằng tín hiệu nhịp đồng hồ, mà thực hiện theo cách bit này sau bit kia, có một bit xuất phát và một bit kết thức để đánh dấu điểm đầu và điểm cuối của đơn vị dũ liệu.
