ASP

(1) (Active Server Page) A Web page that contains programming code writeen in VBScript or Jscript. It was developed by Microsoft starting with Version 3.0 of its Internet Information Server (IIS). When IIS enconters an Active Server page requested by the browser, it executes the embedded program. Active Server Pages are Microsoft’s alternative to CGI scripts.

(2) (Association of Shareware Professionals, Muskegon, MI, www.asp-shareware.org) A trade organization for shareware founded in 1987. Author members submit products to ASP, which are approved virus checked and distributed monthly via CD to member vendors and BBSs. CDs are periodically made available to the public.

(2) Một tổ chức thương mại phần mềm được sáng lập vào năm 1987. Các tác giả đệ trình các sản phẩm cho ASP, vốn đà được xác nhận, kiểm tra virus và được phân phối hàng tháng qua CD cho những người cung cấp thành viên và các BBS, các CD được tạo sẵn theo từng giai đoạn.
