analog monitor

A video monitor that accepts analog signals from the computer (digital to analog conversion is performed in the display adapter). It may accept only a narrow range of display resolutions; for example, only VGA or VGA ans Super VGA, or it may accept a widerange of signals including TV. See multiscan monitor and RGB monitor.
