AFP

(1) (AppleTalk Filing Protocol) A client/server protocol used in AppleTalk communications networks. In order for non-Apple networks to access data in an AppleShare server, their protocols must translate into the AFT language.

(2) (Advances Function Presentation) A page description language from IBM intoduced initially as Advanced Function Printing for mainframes. AFP is implemented on various platforms by Print Services Facility (PSF) software, which generates the native IPDS printer language, and depending on version. PostScript and LaserJet PCL as well.

(1) (AppleTalk Filing Protocol) Một giao thức clieht/server được dùng trong các mạng truyền thông AppleTalk. Để các mạng ngoài Apple có thể truy cập dữ liệu trong một AppleShare server, giao thức của chúng phải diễn dịch thành ngôn ngữ AFT.
