Adobe Acrobat

A suite of programs, developed by Adobe Systems, for creating and distributing documents. They allow you to create a Portable Document File (PDF) for a document. You can then distribute the PDF file electronically to people who view the document. You can then distribute the PDF file electronically to people who view the document with the Acrobat Reader (freely distributed). Its main advantage is that you can see exactly the layout intended by the author.
