address mode

The method by which an instruction references memory. An indexed address is modified by the contents of an index register before execution. An indirect address point to another address. Ultimately, inorder to do any actual processing, the instruction must derive real, or absolute addresses, where the required data is located.

Một địa chỉ gián tiếp trỏ sang một địa chỉ khác. Để thực hiện tiến trình xử lý thực sự, lệnh chỉ dẫn phải truy xuất các địa chỉ tuyệt đối hoặc các địa chỉ thật vốn chứa dữ liệu được yêu cầu.
