(1)(Common Communications Support) SAA specifications for communications, which includes data streams (DCA, 3270), application services (DIA, DDM), session services (LU 6.2) and data links (X.25, Token Ring).

(2)(Common Channel Signaling) An integral part of ISDN known as “Signaling System 7,” which advances the CCIS method for transmitting control signals. It allows call forwarding, call waiting, etc., to be provided anywhere in the network.

(3)(100 Call Seconds) A unit of measurement equal to 100 seconds of conversation. One hour = 36 CCS.
