PU 2.1(Physical Unit 2.1)

In SNA, the original term for Node Type 2.1, which is software that provides peer to peer communications between intelligent devices (Pcs, workstations, minicomputers). Only LU 6.2 sessions are supported between Type 2.1 nodes (PU 2.1).
