PIF(Program Information File)

A Windows data file used to hold requirements for DOS applications running under Windows. Windows comes with a variety of PIFs, but users can edit them and new ones can be created with the PIF editor if a DOS application doesn’t work properly. An application can be launched by clicking on its PIF.

PIF(File thông tin chương trình) Một file dữ liệu Windows được sử dụng để chiếm giữ các yêu cầu cho các ứng dụng DOS chạy dưới Windows. Windows xuất hiện với nhiều PIF, tuy nhiên người sử dụng có thể biện tập chúng và các PIF mới có thể tạo nên với bộ biên tập PIF nếu một ứng dụng DOS không hoạt động thích hợp. Một ứng dụng có thể được phóng bằng cách click vào PIF của nó.
