hardware reset

A system restart you perform by’ pushing the computers reset button. A hardware reset may be necessary after a system crash so severe that you cannot use the keyboard restart command(in DOS. Ctrl-Alt-Del) to restart the computer. See programmer’s switch and warm boot.
