ENIAC(Electronic Numerical Intergrator And Calculator)

The first operational electronic digital computer developed for the U.S. Army by John Eckert and John Mauchly at the University of Pennsylvania. Completed in 1946, it was decimal based, used 18,000 vacuum tubes, took up 1,800 square feet and performed 5,000 additions/second. Today, the equivalent technology is used in a watch.
