(1)(Characters Per Inch) The measurement of the of the dencity of characters per inch on tape or paper. A printer’s CPI button switches character pitch.
(2)(Counts Per Inch) The measurement of the resolution of a mouse/trackball as flywheel notches per inch (horizontal and vertical flywheels rotate as the ball is moved). Notches are converted to cursor movement.

(1)(Characters Per Inch) Phép đo mật độ ký tự trong mỗi inch trên băng hay giáy. Nút CPI của máy in chuyển đổi khoảng ký tự.
(2)(Counts Per Inch) Phép đo độ phân giải của một thiết bị chuột/trackball như các rãnh bánh xe lưu động trên mỗi inch(các bánh xe lưu động nằm ngang và dọc sẽ xoay khi quả cầu được di chuyển). Các rãnh được chuyển đổi theo sự di chuyển của con trỏ.
